Goodmorning.This版权所有weekIvisitedthecityofChicago.Inthatgreatcity,andacroAmerica,ourstrongandgrowingeconomyiscreatingjoanddeliveringproeritytomoreofourpeople.

IntheChicagoarea,busineeshaveaddedmorethan74,000newjooverthepasttwoyears.AndinIllinois,theunemploymentratehasfallento4.6percent,thelowestratethereinover5-and-a-halfyears.

Wehavegoodnewsaboutournationaleconomy,aswell.OnFriday,welearnedthattheAmericaneconomycreated121,000newjoinJune,andithascreatedover5.4millionjosinceAugust20xx.Wenowhaveaddedjofor34straightmonths,andtheunemploymentrateis4.6percent.

Inthefirstquarterof20xx,oureconomygrewatanimpreiveaualrateof5.6percent.Thisfollowsoureconomicgrowthof3.5percentin20xx,thefastestrateofanymajorindustrializednation.Andbecausetaxesarelow,ourworkersarekeepingmoreofthemoneytheyearn.

Behindeachofthesepositivestatisticsarecountlestories--storiesofworkerswhostarteachdaywithhopebecausetheyhaveajobthatwillhelpthembuildabetterlife;storiesoffamilieswithmoremoneyinthebankforcollegetuition,oradownpaymentonahome;storiesofsmallbusineownerswhoknowtheycanhiremoreworkersandgrowwithconfidence.

OureconomicexpaionisliftingthelivesofmillioofAmerica,andtokeepthisexpaiongoing,wemustmaintainthepro-growth,low-taxpoliciesthathelpedtolaunchitinthefirstplace.ThetaxreliefwedeliveredhashelpedunleashtheentrepreneurialiritofAmericaandkeptoureconomytheenvyoftheworld.SoIwillcontinuetoworkwithCongretomakethattaxreliefpermanent.
