inthe21stcentury,yourgenerationwillhavetoreversetheinternationaltideofcrimeanddrugs.aroundtheworld,organizedcrimeropeopleofbillioofdollarseveryyearandunderminestrustingovernment.americaknowsallaboutthedevastationanddeairthatdrugscanbringtoschoolsandneighborhoods.withbordersonmorethanadozencountries,chinahasbecomeacroroadforsmugglersofallkinds.
lastyear,presidentjiangandiaskedseniorchineseandamericanlawenforcementofficialstostepupourcooperationagaitthesepredators,tostopmoneyfrombeinglaundered,tostopaliefrombeingcruellysmuggled,tostopcurrenciesfrombeingunderminedbycounterfeiting.justthismonth,ourdrugenforcementagencyopenedanofficeinbeijing,andsoonchinesecounternarcoticsexpertswillbeworkingoutofwashington.
